Wednesday already – the mid-point of the week. It’s time to take a moment to relax.
Relaxation is a medical necessity. That’s why sleep, and yoga, and vacations are all so good for us.
When we relax, our muscles unclench and that immediately reduces our risk for a whole range of injuries. When we relax, our heart rate lowers – and that has a vast range of medical benefits. Finally, when we relax, we take a moment to re-connect with the things that are important to us, and that gives us clarity of purpose.
